JUGAS Outing - City Sprouts Social – Urban Farming & Fun

The recent JUGAS social event at City Sprouts Henderson on 20 July 2025 has concluded, and it was a delightful experience for everyone involved. 

Participants had a wonderful time exploring and learning about various local plants, flora, worms, and fly larvae. The event provided a perfect setting for attendees to reconnect with each other, while the little ones had their share of fun. 

The day kicked off with a 1.5-hour guided farm tour and hydroponics workshop, where participants immersed themselves in urban agriculture at City Sprouts, a green oasis promoting sustainable living and community farming. Attendees enjoyed hands-on activities and even took home some freshly grown veggies as a tasty reward. 

After working up an appetite, the group headed to a nearby cozy bistro for a casual lunch, where they continued their conversations over a delicious meal. It was an enriching and enjoyable day for all, blending education and leisure in the heart of the city.
